**Job Summary**

AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Architect III for employment in the Boston, MA office.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

+ Translate direction from project design and management leads into conceptual, schematic and design development packages, and moving into the production of construction documents

+ Direct junior and intermediate level staff

+ Develop creative and coherent approaches and design solutions to a wide range of complex problems

+ Participates in development of documents required at all phases of project design including all phases of construction documents, specifications and construction administration

+ Develops solutions for a wide range of difficult technical problems and interdisciplinary issues within established project budgets

+ Develops details and edits specifications

+ Adapts and modifies design features under supervision of a Project Manager to meet project specifications

**Minimum Requirements**

+ Bachelor's degree in Architecture

+ 7+ years of relevant professional experience

+ Licensed as a registered architect, preferably in the state in the State of Massachusetts.

+ Revit skills

+ Have a proven track record of working in a collaborative environment

+ The candidate must be an excellent collaborator willing to contribute to a team effort, but also show an ability to work independently

+ Due to the nature of this work, U.S. citizenship is required

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ 10+ years of experience

+ Specifications writing

+ Experience with DoD projects

+ Security Clearance preferred
