**Job Summary**

Complete tasks in design development, construction documentation and construction administration phases independently and report to the Project and/or Technical Director as per agreed schedule;

Responsible for the design management of the assigned project, such as to formulate project schedule and budget plan, as well as to ensure the project is implemented as approved and scheduled;

Responsible for project coordination to ensure the assigned projects meet requirements of AECOM Operation standards and procedures;

Develop action plans in response to the technical issues as posed by the project scope and to encourage innovative solutions at all times;

Plays a key role in client management and client satisfaction during all phases to ensure production of contract deliverables are aligned with design intent;

Organizing and managing project teams across multi-disciplines and team assignments

Resolution of complex technical and design issues as they arise;

Responsible for mentoring junior staffs.

**Minimum Requirements**

Bachelor degree or above in architecture or related majors;

At least 10+ years’ professional experience with large scale design consultancies and/or client side representative;

Licensed Architect registered by the Chinese authority, overseas registered architect is a plus;

Proficient in Chinese building codes, standards and structures;

Experienced in design development, construction documentation and construction administration (on-site service) phases of at least two of the following type of projects: mix-used planning, residential, commercial offices, retail, hospitality and public buildings;

Capable to deal with construction issues on site independently;

Good communication skills externally with clients, consultants and suppliers, and internally with AECOM executives, inter-offices and professionals of other disciplines;

Proficient in design software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, Grasshopper, Sketchup, PKPM, Photoshop, InDesign, etc. and management software such as Microsoft Office and Project, Bluebeam, Acrobat, etc.;

Excellent communication skills in both Chinese and English, and the ability to work well with a team local and abroad;

Strong leadership, organization, communication and relationship management skills;

Ability to handle difficult situations with tact, grace and style;

Experience leading, managing and mentoring multiple project teams;

Experience with recruiting, mentoring and coaching talent;

Highly organized and responsive.

**Preferred Qualifications**



Experienced in either urban planning, medical planning and/or infrastructure type of projects is a plus;

Experienced in civil defense design is a plus.
