**Job Summary**

The main purpose of this role is to lead in the growth and development of the AECOM B+P business within KSA taking responsibility for the following;

+ Taking the lead in the preparation of strategic planning and delivering on these plans in KSA region with the support from the Middle East geography B+P Managing Director and Country Managing Director.

+ Maintaining client networks and managing client relationships within KSA

+ Keeping abreast of industry developments within KSA, and across the Middle East geography

+ Oversight of delivering projects on time and within budget

+ Management of working capital on B+P projects

+ Championing innovation and demonstrating technical leadership.

The B+P, KSA Lead will be responsible for development of the overall end market, to align with the AECOM B+P and EMIA strategy & growth. This work will include a business development plan and marketing activities to cultivate an enhanced presence and client base in the Middle East market and secure future projects for the practice lines (Design, Planning & Economics, Building Engineering, Architecture and Cost Consultancy). An important part of the role will be to identify and align with high-level influencers and clients both in government and the private sector, to demonstrate AECOM as the strategic consultant of choice.

You would take responsibility for bidding and winning work for B+P and wider AECOM strategic commissions in collaboration with the Buildings + Places Middle East leader, regional leadership and Middle East strategic growth team.

The Middle East team (including KSA) regularly works with AECOM’s UK, Spain and our Global Design Centre in India as well as other international teams to bring the best of AECOM’s world-class talents to meet client expectations on complex projects.

**Job Duties:**

**Financial Performance:**

+ Manage financial performance of buildings projects by achieving planned targets through winning work, identifying and implementing operating efficiencies

+ Manage contract variations within the buildings projects in KSA through regular follow up with Project Directors and Project Managers

+ Review with the Project Directors and Project Managers the technical and financial performance of projects on a regular basis, and implement necessary measures to mitigate losses

**Project Delivery:**

+ Lead the implementation of innovative solutions and participate actively with clients and stakeholders in the project delivery process.

+ Manage the implementation of effective work planning and project control systems for the buildings projects within KSA.

+ Manage and implement staff changes necessary to improve operational efficiency on buildings projects in KSA.

**Risk Management and Compliance:**

+ Implement and ensure compliance with the Middle East Sub-Delegations of Authority including the analysis and management of project risks in KSA..

+ Implementation and ensure compliance with AECOM policies, systems and procedures on all buildings projects in KSA

+ Implementation and ensure compliance with AECOM Ethics & Compliance policies and procedures on all buildings projects in Dubai.

**Client:**

+ Maintain client networks and manage client relationships in KSA

+ Ensure client satisfaction with AECOM performance through regular visits and client management activities

**Business Development:**

+ Support the Middle East B+P Managing Director and the Country Managing Director in strategic business development and Global Business Line pursuits across the region.

+ Manage the buildings business development activities in coordination with the Middle East B+P Managing Director and the Country Managing Director

+ Keep abreast of industry developments in the Middle East and globally

+ Support the Middle East B+P Managing Director and the Country Managing Directore in the preparation and delivery of the KSA plan

**People:**

+ Engage appropriate personnel within the KSA market in order to deliver a profitable, quality and timely service successfully.

+ Support in recruiting and dismissing staff within the authority limits defined in the Middle East Sub-Delegations of Authority.

+ Support engagement and continuous development of staff within the KSA B+P end market.

**Personal Development:**

+ Ensure continuous development of personal skills to match the emerging job requirements.

+ Demonstrate a positive and growth-oriented approach to leadership - building on strengths and provide coaching for direct reports.

**Key Performance Indicators**

+ SH&E performance within the EM.

+ Meet or exceed ME B+P KSA Plan (GSR, NSR, Gross Margin, Pre-VC EBITA and Staff Utilisation).

+ Meet or exceed ME B+P KSA Plan for OCF and DSO’s (Billed and Unbilled).

+ Claims resolution.

+ Client satisfaction based on results of annual surveys.

+ Retention and development of B+P KSA staff.

+ Communication and responsiveness, both internal and externally.

+ Commitment and adherence to AECOM corporate governance.

**Minimum Requirements**

This role requires a person with a proven history of strong technical leadership and management abilities (of both projects and people), able to collaborate and provide strong direction and ownership of multi-disciplinary projects some of which will be delivered with a team based in country, or remotely across various EMIA locations.

This experience will include building relationships with government and senior stakeholders, understanding policy implications and opportunities and turning these to effective business development, project delivery and trusted consultant relationships.

+ 15+ years in and most recently taking senior operational leadership roles within a matrixed multi-national built environment company

+ P+L management of over a 50m USD turnover per annum.

+ Proven experience successfully managing a leadership team and multi-disciplinary project teams

+ Extensive experience in the management of projects from proposal development to completion, including periodic project reviews

+ Successful history of creating and implementing change to increase the efficiency and quality of the overall operation.

+ Strong financial and budget management skills

+ Proven track record in successfully securing new work as well as maintaining existing contracts

+ Experience working in the Middle East will be highly regarded

+ Strong attention to detail

+ High level organisational and team coordination and management skills

+ Ability to provide clear experience of delivering successful health & safety initiatives

**Preferred Qualifications**

A degree in Urban Planning, Geography, Economics, Architecture, Engineering or related disciplines

Additional degrees or qualifications in related fields will be considered favorably.
