**Job Summary**

AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Business Development Lead for immediate employment for the New York City office. AECOM is proud to provide our employees with exciting, challenging projects.



The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:



+ Working closely with the Business Line Leader to develop and implement business development and marketing strategies that specialize in public sector or NYC based authorities

+ Maintaining an active pipeline for the PMCM business line in Metro NYC to build up public sector or NYC based authorities focused business group

+ Understanding of the entire business development lifecycle, including opportunity identification, capture management, technical solution design, proposal writing, costing, and applicable regulations

+ Leading the development and capture of client relationships, strategic initiatives, and emerging opportunities in the public sector or NYC based authorities with proven relationships with all decision makers

+ Developing long-term client relationships with key AECOM clients in the public sector or NYC based authorities

+ Coordinating with the PM/CM business development team in other regions in the Americas, as well as with other AECOM business lines

+ Developing and implementing business development and marketing strategies focused on public sector or NYC based authorities

+ Leading, reviewing, writing winning proposals as a Capture Manager

+ Developing teaming arrangements with potential partners, including small businesses

+ Training and mentoring staff seller-doers in BD policies, procedures and practices



**Minimum Requirements**



+ Bachelor's Degree in Construction management, Engineering, Architecture or related technical field

+ 10+ years of progressive Construction Project management experience, which includes knowledge of all phases of construction operations relating to field activities, of all field engineering disciplines, all construction technologies and project management in healthcare and hospital sectors

+ Experience with a major construction/program management firm running multiple public sector or NYC based authorities

+ Understanding of the PM/CM practice, its business model, the services provided, and how to manage project risks

+ Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required



**Preferred Qualifications**



+ ​Strong interest to build a healthcare/hospitals business area
