**Job Summary**

AECOM is seeking a Business Development Representative to be based in our Grande Prairie, Alberta location.

This position is responsible for conducting marketing and business development activities in a group, subsidiary or at the company level.

May include the following responsibilities:

+ Develops and coordinates new business opportunities in the marketplace through continuous professional contact with existing and/or new clientele and determines and/or assists in determining client long-range need for services and/or capital expenditures.

+ Solicits qualified bid/proposal opportunities and evaluates client needs for bids and proposals and sells appropriate services.

+ Seeks new markets for business development.

+ Assists in the development of the group, subsidiary and/or company sales program.

+ Coordinates the development of the proposal with planning, estimating and other appropriate departments.

+ May assist in proposal presentations and proposal strategy.

+ Maintains records of target area business development and project data to aid in coordination of all marketing and operation plans.

+ This position will be required to drive a vehicle on behalf of AECOM and therefore will require the candidate to submit a satisfactory driver's abstract for review.

**Minimum Requirements**


+ Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or demonstrated equivalent.


+ 3 years of professional development experience (an advanced degree could substitute year for year of experience).

Additional Information:

+ A valid Class 1 or Class 5 driver's license and a clean driver's abstract are requirements of this position.
