**Job Summary**

AECOM is seeking an experienced Transportation Alternative Delivery Capture Manager. This is an exceptional opportunity to join one of the premier A/E/C industry leaders to successfully pursue major and significant design build projects. Assignments will focus on projects in the Northeast Region that includes Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Vermont. If you have a successful track record in business development, relationship building, project and program delivery systems within the A/E/C transportation profession, we want you to be part of our winning team for large transportation project pursuits.

This position can be located anywhere in the Northeast region and travel as needed.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

+ Work closely with the AECOM National Transportation Business Line’s Market Sector leaders and Regional Business Line Leaders in the pursuit and execution of major transportation projects

+ Track major transportation design-build prospects in CT, DE, ME, MA, NH, NJ, PA, RI and VT and develop and implement capture plans for new business

+ Identify internal and external resources needed for specific pursuits including design managers

+ Develop mobilization plans for pre and post award designs

+ Negotiate teaming agreements, proposal phase design service agreements and design subcontracts with other engineering and construction entities

+ Increase AECOM’s visibility in the infrastructure and design/build space by actively participating in state and national organizations

+ Coach AECOM design professionals in the pursuit and execution of design build projects

+ Support the Design Manager in the preparation of qualifications and proposal documents; coordinate regional or national marketing support

+ Help recruit talent to fill project positions that will enhance the firm’s visibility, competitiveness, and growth in the transportation engineering business of the Northeast Region

**Minimum Requirements**

+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Transportation Planning, Environmental Planning or related field

+ 15+ years of professional engineering experience that includes responsibility for the pursuit and execution of civil infrastructure design and design management on major transportation design-build projects also including 8+ years of sales or account management

+ Experience should show demonstrated success in maintaining good relationships with contractors and owners and a working knowledge of strategic sales planning and development of tactical action plans that include project capture planning, teaming with contractors and other engineers and leadership of qualification and proposal activities

+ Professional engineer or Planner registered in at least one US state or have the ability to obtain registration within 6 months of hire

+ In-depth knowledge, experience, and relationship development within the Northeast Region that includes Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Vermont A/E/C industry

+ Demonstrated ability to lead a team and work with others

+ Excellent oral and written communication skills
