**Job Summary**

AECOM has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Medical Case Manager in VA. This is a position responsible for providing personnel with physical or mental injury/illness, recovery and reintegration services for the injured individual and his/her family.

Responsibilities include:

+ Execute, coordinate and facilitate articulated recovery care plans to maximize treatment.

+ Mitigate further harm./risk and optimize reintegration.

+ Assist the injured individual through all phases of recovery to meet objectives.

+ Facilitate between the injured individual’s family and/or local government and community resources to ensure recovery care plans are executed in a timely, cost-effective, and evidence-based manner indicative of optimal recovery and reintegration.

+ From the WMA, manage cases located across both the Continental United States (CONUS) as well as Outside the Continental Unites States (OCONUS).

+ Assist in the management of care denial by referral location and/or third-party payers

+ Assist personnel in health and recovery data collection and reporting that shall highlight potential delays in recovery progress and/or detriments in the quality of care for the injured individual and his/her family

**Minimum Requirements**

+ Active Top Secret SCI Clearance with Polygraph – TS/SCI with poly

+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in nursing, or a closely related field

+ Licensed Practical Nurse, licensed registered nurse, or licensed Physician Assistant

+ Valid certification as a professional medical case manager (as recognized by the Commission for Case Management Certification

+ 2 years’ experience working with in a clinical or mental health setting focused on efforts on injury recovery
