**Job Summary**

AECOM is actively seeking an experienced, creative, highly talented Communications Coordinator for immediate employment in the Rocky Hill, CT office.

As an AECOM Communications Coordinator, you will serve in a support role to the CTrides project team working with the State’s largest employers, colleges/universities and transportation stakeholders. You will help to develop and execute the program’s communication strategy.Must be able to work independently and as part of a team; manage multiple assignments; interact effectively with employees at all levels. Exercises sound judgment when communicating with internal and/or external clients or customers. Latitude of creativity is required to produce effective and successful communication materials. Works under limited supervision with final work product reviewed to validate consistency with branding requirements and messaging. May provide functional advice and training to less experienced team members.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

+ Performs a range of transportation demand management, marketing and outreach tasks aimed at enhancing opportunities for individual travelers and commuters to utilize non-drive-alone means of transportation, including carpooling, vanpooling, public transit, bicycling, walking, teleworking, and other options.

+ Develop, promote, and/or implement a range of communication / marketing programs aimed at improving business operations and increasing alternative mode use to improve overall air quality and mitigate traffic congestion.

+ Manage Social Media accounts

+ Monitor Program Websites for Quality Control and Content Updates

+ Manage Inquiry Responses

+ Assist in the planning and execution of Promotions and Events

+ Develop presentations,

+ Maintain marketing materials inventory

+ Provide Print Production Assistance

+ Assist with Communication projects as needed including creative development

+ Oversee Supply Procurement

+ Commuter and employer outreach activities

+ Review results of marketing activities against establish benchmarks

**Minimum Requirements**

+ Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field or some college with equivalent related business experience

+ 3+ years of client management, communication, marketing, outreach or other relevant business experience

+ Excellent writing and interpersonal communication skills and experience in handling multiple tasks in an organized and efficient manner

+ Energetic, and articulate individual who has the communication skills and persuasiveness necessary to influence, motivate, and inform travelers in the use of travel options

+ Proven track record meeting job performance metrics

+ Ability to achieve objectives through teamwork

+ Must have current valid driver’s license

+ Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft OS, Adobe suite of products

+ General office environment, requires visits to project sites

+ Some heavy lifting (<30 lbs) may be required

+ Must possess a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and a good driving record

+ Due to the nature of this work, U.S. citizenship is required

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Experience with Google analytics

+ Experience with developing marketing plans

+ Strong Social Media Management skills

+ Experience with Salesforce

+ Experience with Google suite of products
