**Job Summary**

AECOM has an opportunity for a Configuration Management Specialist – Senior in our Fort Hood, TX location.

As a member of the PM Mission Command team, provide and coordinate program acquisition, engineering, logistics, and configuration management planning and coordination support. Supervise activities and tasks across multiple programs for configuration management planning, identification, change control, audit/verification, and status accounting. Conduct analyses, studies, process development, problem identification and resolution, requirements definition, program planning and implementation. Prepare correspondence, plans, and reports for assigned program(s) and customer(s). Specific tasks include:

1.Research and analyze issues and problems in acquisition, engineering design changes, change impacts to design interface, cost, and logistics; determine alternatives; and recommend approaches/solutions.

2.Collaborate daily with customer(s) to define, coordinate, and track the status of multi-program tasks, engineering changes and change instructions, maintain metrics and advise on technical and configuration management planning and implementation.

3.Develop and/or review program reports, technical papers, drawings, specifications, procedures, etc.; provide comments; and organize, consolidate, adjudicate comments from various organizations, and prepare reports.

4.Prepare program management correspondence, (i.e., letters, memoranda, and route sheets); develop plans, charts, spreadsheets, and presentations. Prepare analytical reports and meeting minutes.

5.As subject matter expert, provide advice on program planning, development, and implementation of configuration management functions to meet program goals and objectives.

6.Interface daily with various engineering, program management, and logistics task leaders to exchange information and coordinate related task performance.

7.Supervise configuration management analyst team in accomplishment of tasks, and train junior-level personnel in the technical aspects of assigned work.

Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

**Minimum Requirements**

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, with 7 years of job-related experience required. Excellent written and oral communication skills and demonstrated supervisory skills. Experience using Microsoft Office software products. Ability to investigate, troubleshoot, and design solutions to problems in operational hardware and software. Working knowledge of the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) Capability Maturity Model (CMM) as it relates to configuration management. Position requires the ability to pass and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.

**Preferred Qualifications**

Master’s degree preferred. Experience with Army testing, certification, experimentation, and demonstrations, preferably including Army Interoperability Certifications, Network Integration Events, and Army Warfighting Experiments.
