**Job Summary**

AECOM has immediate opportunities for

**Construction Managers** to support our FEMA project in various locations in the United States. Locations may include California, Texas, Louisiana and Florida. The Construction Manager is responsible for the organization, direction, supervision and coordination of construction activities on a project site as delineated in the applicable procedures and Site Specific Safety Plan.

Essential Responsibilities:

+ Responsible for conducting Damage Assessments on Public Infrastructure. Responsible for work procedures, scheduling, cost control, monitoring and implementation of safety programs, project conformance to national, local and/or company building codes and the maintenance of accurate records.

+ Implements the construction portion of the assigned project. Responsible for job site activities.

+ Ensures timely and efficient execution of fieldwork.

+ Acts as customer contact for construction project field activities.

+ Ensures all construction is in compliance with design specifications, is completed on schedule, adheres to budget, meets accounting requirements and is built to quality standards.

+ Responsible to a member of the Project Managers job family or the Operations Manager job family.

+ Conducts work requiring independent evaluation, selection, adaptation and modification of standard construction techniques.

+ Demonstrates the ability to work independently on assigned project.

+ Performs all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

**Minimum Requirements**

+ U.S. Citizenship required.

+ Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain an SF-85 Public Trust Security Clearance.

+ Position will require travel.

+ Must be available for immediate employment.

+ Must be available for 3-6 months or longer employment term.

+ Bachelor’s degree in a Construction related discipline or demonstrated combination of equivalent education and experience.

+ 10+ years of construction and project related experience.

+ Must possess a thorough knowledge of all engineering disciplines, construction technologies and job site management. This is a mid-level construction management position.

+ Candidates should have good oral and written communication skills.

+ A working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications; organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work are required.

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Actively, fully adjudicated secret or TS security clearance is preferred.

+ Prior FEMA training and experience is preferred.
