**Job Summary**

AECOM is seeking a Nuclear Construction Planning Manager to be based in our Toronto, ON location. An ideal candidate must be local or willing to relocate to the area.

AECOM’s Construction Services Canada has multiple opportunities for experienced Construction Planning Manager to support the successful completion of a range of projects across the region.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

+ Implements the construction portion of the assigned project through day-to-day direction of all field activities and is responsible for all job site activities.

+ Ensures timely and efficient execution of fieldwork.

+ Acts as the primary client contact for all construction project field activities.

+ Ensures all construction is in compliance with design specifications, is completed on schedule, adheres to budget, meets accounting requirements and is built to quality standards.

+ Functions as a Project Manager on a direct-hire construction-only project or as the field manager on an engineering/ procurement/construction management project.

+ Under minimal supervision, manages small to medium size projects or a major geographic area on a mega project. Completed work is reviewed for desired results. Establishes field objectives and procedures within company guidelines as necessitated by conditions at the job site.

+ Responsible to a member of the Project Managers job family or the Operations Manager job family.

+ Ensure all applicable Client procedures that impact the performance of the work are known, understood and adhered to in the generation of applicable Construction Work Packages (CWPs) as well as performance of the direct work

+ Ensure incorporation and implementation of the Project Safety, Health and Environment program for the project including supporting SH&E functional personnel in the development and implementation of a nuclear safety culture

+ Ensure incorporation and implementation of the Project Quality Assurance / Quality Control program for all scope work, including incorporation of suitable OPEX and Lessons Learned in the applicable CWPs

+ Support risk identification and mitigation programs and procedures to de-risk the work for both the Company and the Client

+ Promote Leadership Development and Succession Planning programs are implemented and effectively promoted in conjunction with skills development, mentoring, coaching, and experience broadening

**Minimum Requirements**

+ Demonstrated knowledge and experience with CAN/CSA N285.0 – 12, General Requirements for Pressure-Retaining Systems and Components in CANDU Nuclear Power Plants

+ Bachelor’s degree in a Construction related discipline or demonstrated combination of equivalent education and experience.

+ Extensive construction and project related experience. Possesses a thorough knowledge of all engineering disciplines, construction technologies and job site management. This is a journey level position and the first level of Construction Management.

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Nuclear Construction, Maintenance and/or Heavy Industry experience – Essential.

+ An ideal candidate must be local or willing to relocate to the area. No LOA or Subs will be provided.
