Position Summary
We are searching for a truly unique individual. As Creative Asset Manager and a valued member of our Gensler Integrated Communications (GIC) studio, you will be called upon to successfully partner, consult, advise and strategize internally with our team of highly talented editors, designers and strategists. The goal is to deliver truly compelling photography and video content across our 31 Practice Areas.

Your Role
As the Creative Asset Manager, curate and manage our firm’s portfolio of visual assets, and when called upon, develop new and progressive ways to tell brand stories through our extensive library of photography and video. Create, implement and manage a process for aggregating and retrieving new and existing content, as well as strategizing with stakeholders to fully leverage this content. Collaborate with our editorial team for creative content creation and development. Test new creative approaches and technologies and seek out continuous improvement for content creation across all channels.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Manage, edit, curate and present scores of images and video content in support of various projects and initiatives
  • Serves as knowledge keeper and manager in tracking most current visual content across all Gensler regions
  • Refine and strengthen a process for cataloging various images, videos, illustrations, creations and other content through Open Asset
  • Ensure the security of all content, including implementing backup procedures as necessary
  • Provide editorial services and consultation on all Regional projects as necessary
  • Map or direct appropriate internal and external (third party) content to appropriate channels and project teams
  • Identify new approaches enabling us to leverage our own existing digital content (videos, photos, graphic assets, etc)

Required and/or Ideal Qualifications
A minimum of 5 to 7+ years experience in managing branded photos and video content. Demonstrated ability to apply broad “best practices” and processes to specific areas of focus and requests. Possess a track record of applying sound editorial judgment with creative flair. Superb written and verbal communications and collaborative skills. Solid project management skills in digital marketing, content development or online marketing and production. Ideally, hold a Bachelors degree in a related field, such as photography, video production or digital social media.
