**Job Summary**

AECOM’s Global Real Estate Services (GRES) organization is responsible for portfolio management ($450mm), reporting, processes and policy for 13 million square feet of primarily leased office space around the world. Reporting to the SVP of Global Real Estate, the successful candidate will be a key contributor in managing AECOM’s Real Estate portfolio through:

+ Defining the vision and strategy for global real estate that fully aligns with AECOM’s strategy and core values.

+ Influencing real estate decisions through developing and presenting data-driven recommendations.

+ Defining analysis methodology and leading the analysis of real estate divestitures, consolidation, expansion and investments.

+ Developing strategic plans for asset managers to execute in managing the portfolio.

+ Providing reporting and trend analysis to drive value-add decisions.

+ Engaging with business unit leadership to understand macro business directions to identify and coordinate changes and impacts within the portfolio.

+ Identifying risks and opportunities within the portfolio to coordinate a seamless delivery of real estate needs to internal clients.

+ Preparing deliverables for executives in both Excel and PowerPoint including updates on portfolio changes, metrics reporting and pipeline of future real estate actions.

+ Collaborating with internal partners and customers (Transaction Management, Project Management, Facility Management, Tax, Treasury, Real Estate Finance) to develop cohesive scenario planning assumptions, report portfolio performance and other management reports.

+ Identifying cost effective solutions to meet the business’s real estate needs.

+ Creating sustainable processes to analyze and deliver solutions.

**Minimum Requirements**

Candidates must have a continuous process improvement mindset as the selected individual will be empowered to drive efficiencies through change. The ideal candidate will have strong execution, communication and presentation skills to sell to senior management and think critically to resolve difficult issues and challenges. Transparency along with the proven ability to communicate to all levels of an organization, respect differing views and reduce potential surprises is critical. Must be able to build relationships and work effectively with internal clients and external advisors. Experience, background, skills and other attributes include:

+ Ten years progressive experience in corporate real estate and strategy development that includes breadth coupled with depth and a career track record of success in a matrixed environment.

+ A degree in Architecture, Engineering, Urban Planning, Facilities Management or Business Administration.

+ Well-developed organizational, time management, planning and prioritization skills.

+ Being a team player that cultivates collaboration and leadership.

+ Proactive and goal-oriented with the ability to work independently and manage through influence.

+ Consultative, service-oriented mindset.

+ Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial and qualitative data.

+ Proven ability to synthesize and analyze large amounts of data and communicate relevant findings.

+ Demonstrated analytical approach to problem solving with a high attention to detail.

+ Proven success working in a dynamic environment.

+ High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint including working with complex spreadsheets.

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Post-M&A experience.

+ Master’s in Business Administration or Real Estate.
