**Job Summary**

AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Energy Manager for immediate employment for a project in Palo Alto, CA. AECOM is proud to provide our employees with exciting, challenging projects.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

+ Develop and manage energy conservation development projects across multiple disciplines and multiple facilities or campuses.

+ Conducts detailed audits of facilities and identify opportunities for reducing energy consumption and sustainable practices.

+ Perform Preliminary Audits (PA), Investment Grade Audits (IGA) including detailed analysis of energy savings calculations and development of baseline energy usage.

+ Develop ECMs for review and implementation including savings potential, scope of work, and benefit to facility.

+ Prepare ASHRAE Level 2 and 3 Audit Reports for review and acceptance by AECOM Customer.

+ Work with and lead Engineering teams to assist in development of PAs, and IGA.

+ Proficient use of Spreadsheet Energy modeling of individual ECMs and capable of modeling interaction of ECMs through whole building modeling using programs similar to eQuest.

+ Work with M&V leader in the development of M&V plans for inclusion in IGA on ESPC projects.

+ Organize and conduct site visits for purposes of data collection and evaluation of energy consuming end-uses.

+ Develop and prepare type written scopes of work for projects.

+ Active participant in CA Energy and Policy proceedings when time permitting.

+ Ensure Utility Incentives are accurately applied to all IGAs.

+ Travel is estimated at 5-10%, but could vary based on project requirements.

**Minimum Requirements**

+ Bachelor's Degree in related field

+ 8+ years of work experience demonstrating progressively increasing levels of job responsibility, with recent work experience demonstrating job responsibilities

+ Capable of making presentations of Energy Plans, Program, or project in a formal setting to various stakeholders.

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

+ In-depth knowledge of building energy systems.

+ Must be detail oriented, thorough, well organized and effectively manage time.

+ Team player with excellent listening skills and diplomacy; willingness to work with multiple different colleagues on a variety of initiatives.

+ Ability to work in a high-paced environment with a sense of urgency.

+ Strong organizational skills – ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

+ Consultative, service-oriented mindset and collaborative problem-solving skills.

+ Proactive and goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently and manage change effectively.

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Master’s Degree.

+ Current knowledge of legislative activities related to energy and greenhouse gas emissions.

+ Current knowledge of all energy related proceedings of California Public Utility Commission and California Energy Commission.
