**Job Summary**

AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Entry Level Landscape Architecture Intern/technologist for immediate employment in the Kitchener, ON office. Our design practice provides a small studio feel with the resources and exposure available to us by being part of a multidisciplinary office including urban design, architecture, Economics and engineering.

AECOM is pleased to include you in a unique development opportunity, the Graduate Development Program (GDP). This program is designed to support your assimilation into the organization and assist with creating a foundation of knowledge for a successful career at AECOM. You will gain experience in your discipline through learning on the job and participate in development opportunities during the program, including access to AECOM's social media resources, group mentoring, and professional networking. The program also has learning activities that will be available to you, including webinars and on-line programs.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

+ Work in collaboration with other designers on a wide array of projects ranging from urban streetscapes, civic plaza, light rail transit, transportation corridors, ecological restoration initiatives and improvements for Parks Canada.

+ Prepare documents and graphics for all phases of landscape architectural design, inclusive of site analysis, master planning, schematic design, design development and construction documents

+ Possess strong graphic skills to generate two dimensional and three dimensional design graphics

**Minimum Requirements**

+ Bachelor's Degree in Landscape Architecture or Architecture

+ Strong analytical skills

+ Excellent writing and communication skills

+ Ability to work independently as well as in multi-disciplinary teams.

+ Must be a team player

+ Very Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, Microstation, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and SketchUp

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Experience in Rhino, Revit, ArcGIS, and other computer applications is highly desired

+ Strong organizational, communication and time management skills

+ Collaborative and team oriented

+ Strong knowledge/interest in plant materials is preferred

+ Very experienced preparing construction documents
