**Job Summary**

AECOM is currently seeking candidates for the position of Entry Level Manager VAW-120 Naval Station Norfolk

Job Description:

Entry Level Manager, Creating and managing spreadsheets. Composing correspondence to staff and customer, Managing various databases.

Essential Responsibilities:

1) Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedites workflow.

2) Issues written and oral instructions.

3) Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.

4) Studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency of subordinates.

5) Maintains harmony among workers.

6) Prepares composite reports from individual reports of subordinates

7) Adjusts errors and complaints.

8) Visits job sites to insure all safety precautions are being implemented.

9) Inspects work sites during and after completion to determine quality and completeness.

10) Reviews all work order, labor time sheets (DELTEK TIME and EXPENSE) and material requests for accuracy before submitting to work control for action. Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance, and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions; extreme cold; and risk of electrical shock.

+ High School graduate or equivalent with a minimum of five (5) years Aviation Maintenance program and/or project management experience with some budgetary responsibilities or oversight.

+ Must have experience with Navy Aviation Maintenance Operations.

+ Supervisory experience with US Navy Line and Maintenance divisions preferred.

+ Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety procedures, operating and maintenance instruction, procedure manuals and contract delivery orders.

+ Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

+ Ability to communicate effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

+ Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as man-hour standards and percentages.

+ Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

+ Ability to work through production/personnel issues effectively.

+ Position may require some travel.

+ Must have the ability to pass and maintain U.S. Government Secret security clearance.
