**Job Summary**

AECOM is seeking to hire an

**Environmental Consultant/Geologist** (Poznan or Warsaw office/Poland).The Environmental Consultant will deliver consultancy and advisory services to both internal and external clients to a high level of technical quality and to programme and budget.

Job Duties :

+ Assisting the remediation team with current soil and groundwater projects;

+ Carrying out site works support (drilling supervision, sampling, sample logging, field measurements);

+ Communicating with clients and other Business Lines;

+ Carrying out Due Diligence audits and Phase II soil and groundwater investigations, reviewing data received and preparing reports;

+ Assisting with research which will involve reviewing scientific data, European Directives and Polish soil and groundwater regulations and disseminating the information to the project team.

Specific Skills :

+ Professional Geological License

+ Very good English language skills (speaking and writing)

+ Experience with industrial projects

+ Driving license

+ Software literacy: Excel, Word, Power Point, MODFLOW (optional)

**Minimum Requirements**

+ Practical experience of environmental science related work, including: auditing, investigation planning, field work supervision, soil and groundwater sampling, field data reporting and interpretation of results, groundwater modeling, remediation and risk assessment.

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Degree or Master’s Degree in a relevant subject (e.g. environmental science).

+ Membership of a relevant professional organisation
