**Job Summary**


Audits and inspects FAA Certified Repair Station activities for compliance with Federal Aviation Regulation Part 145 and other applicable FAA and FCC rules, regulations and guidelines.

• Responsible for development and sustainment of a culture of safety, quality, compliance, and professionalism

• Helps maintain all required ratings, to include Limited Airframe, Limited Power Plant, Radio, Instrument, Accessory, Limited Drive Train, and Limited NDI, NDT, and Processing.

• Inspects maintenance, modification, operations and logistics for commercial, commercial variant and non-standard aircraft to ensure compliance with FAA/FCC, other federal, state, local, and contract regulations as well as OEM manuals and procedures;

• Inspects commercial aircraft material and documentation for compliance with FAA regulations.

• Ensures aircraft maintain airworthiness certification and flight schedules are met

• Ensures all mechanics are MDS qualified or have two years’ experience in their classification on the assigned MDS.

• Supports Government audits and inspections

• Coordinates with OEM Engineering Representatives

• Responsible for the administration of Quality Management System (QMS) and Company policies.

**Minimum Requirements**

Requires a Bachelors’ degree or 8 years’ equivalent experience, and a minimum of 8 years of directly related commercial or commercial variant rotary wing aircraft maintenance, modification and/or inspection experience, including experience in supervision; Demonstrated areas of experience must include:

• Highly knowledgeable in applicable FAA and FCC regulations, requirements, processes and systems for rotary wing flight operations

• Experience performing aircraft and related inspections in an FAA Repair Station

• Experience working with OEM manuals and procedures and coordinating with FAA, FCC and OEM representatives

• Ability to handle multiple issues and projects in a changing environment

• Ability to establish priorities in a changing environment

• Valid FAA A&P certificate

• Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100 or AS9110 in an aviation sustainment environment preferred
