About this Opportunity
As a Fabric Coordinator Buyer working at Nemschoff, you'll ensure the timely and accurate planning, completion, and follow-up of purchase orders for fabric requirements. You will work from various Customer Service and Production Planning reports to order, expedite, troubleshoot, follow-up, and anticipate fabric-related issues.

What You'll Do

  • Communicate and coordinate unresolved fabric issues to Customer Service and Production as soon as possible.
  • Confirm Purchase Order (PO) receipt and the date of shipments by phone, fax, and email.
  • Generate POs in the EMS using fabric requirements from the Planned Order Report.
  • Oversee fabric availability and stock and quantity status for all fabric orders.

  • Review Fabric Information Requests (Blues) for proper pricing, yardage, special finishes, etc.
  • Review Fabric Information Requests for proper order entry information and setup.
  • Review the Scheduled Receipts Report for issues regarding timeliness, shorts quantities, etc. You will expedite, troubleshoot, and/or elevate issues to the Supervisor as needed.
  • Run and review the Exception Order Report for over/under problems. You'll adjust POs and find alternatives as needed.
  • Serve as backup to handle miscellaneous and additional duties on an as-needed basis.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.

Sound Like You?
You might be just who we're looking for if you have...
