Gensler New York is looking for an experienced Senior Designer for its Hospitality Interiors Practice.

Gensler's new and growing New York City Hospitality Design Team is seeking experienced, talented, and innovative Architects and Interior Designers.  If you have a passion for design, like responsibility, and meet the below qualifications, please submit your resume and portfolio samples.

 

What You Will Do

·         Develop concepts and design all aspects of a project and/or components of a project from the architectural interior design to the FFE

·         Program Hospitality client needs, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, space planning and construction documentation

·         Present design concepts to the client and participate in client meetings throughout the life of the project

·         Oversee and/or participate in the selection and presentation of furniture, furniture systems, fabrics, equipment (FF&E), color palettes, and lighting

·         Oversee and/or generate ID drawings, specifications, and material selections needed for construction

·         Work with external consultants, product representatives, furniture dealers, and fabricators

 

Your Qualifications

·         Experience in the role described above

·         Bachelors or Master’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design from an accredited school

·         10+ years hospitality interior design experience

·         Completed at least one full hotel project and one full restaurant project, more preferred

·         Spa experience a plus but not required

·         Proven professional growth and promotion record at previous position(s)

·         High taste level and great passion for hospitality design
