Description

Gensler’s Northwest region is seeking an experienced hospitality job captain with guest room experience at our San Francisco headquarters.  You will join a highly creative, collaborative team dedicated to innovative problem solving and design excellence. Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design,  Architecture or related field 

  • 5-8 years of experience as a job captain with recent relevant experience focused on hospitality interiors

  • Hotel and Guest Room design and documentation experience required

  • Food & Beverage design and documentation experience a plus

  • Luxury Residential experience a major plus

  • High proficiency in Revit REQUIRED

  • Working knowledge of AutoCad, InDesign, Photoshop, and SketchUp preferred

  • Experience providing project team coordination for plans, specifications, materials and construction administration

  • Ability to provide guidance on technical issues and to prepare and ensure accuracy of technical documents

  • Knowledge of commercial building codes, standards and building structures

  • Advanced construction documentation skills

  • Strong communication, organization, team building and relationship management skills

  • Ability to multitask, while communicating design ideas and direction quickly

  • Proven proficiency coordinating with various consultants and hospitality related trades
