**Job Summary**

AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Office Manager /Senior Project Manager - Infrastructure for immediate employment in the Victoria, BC office.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

+ Direct and manage a team of professionals, technicians and support staff to secure and complete quality projects in a timely, efficient and profitable manner

+ Client management and business development including preparation of proposals for public and private sector clients

+ Client relationship management, ensuring project delivery meets with client expectations

+ Engage, hands-on, in the technical execution of client assignments through to successful project completion

+ Hands-on involvement in the preparation of marketing, Qualifications and Proposal packages and designs, cost estimates, specifications, and contract documents

+ Participate in scheduling, budgeting, tendering, and contract administration for municipal and resource based infrastructure projects

+ Preliminary and detailed design including process analysis, hydraulic analysis, modeling and troubleshooting

+ Demonstrate creativity, foresight and mature judgment in anticipating and solving client needs, market positioning, successful project acquisition strategies, both routine and unusual project delivery, technical and client challenges, determining technical objectives and requirements, organizing programs and projects, and developing standards and guides for technical activities and applications

+ Staying abreast of industry standards and approaches, and implementing best practices

+ Monitoring project delivery against established budgets, schedules and quality management including provision of support and guidance to design lead/team personnel as required

+ Oversight and management of construction phases of projects to ensure works are completed in accordance with the contract documents, on time and budget

+ Ensuring project work is undertaken is accordance with corporate health and safety policies and quality management systems

+ Representing AECOM in relevant professional organizations and association

**Minimum Requirements**

+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited University

+ Registered Professional Engineer in British Columbia

+ 10+ years of progressive experience in municipal engineering

+ Consulting experience in British Columbia

+ Experience in undertaking engineering proposals and marketing, designs, specifications, scheduling, cost estimating, tendering, construction and commissioning

+ Proven project management technical skills

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills

+ Excellent organizational skills

+ Committed team player and highly self-motivated

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Previous people management experience would be an asset

+ Significant experience and client relationships in the municipal water sector

+ Victoria area water market knowledge

+ In addition to linear piping systems the ideal candidate will have experience in the planning, design and construction phases of expansions or upgrades to water, wastewater and drainage pumping stations

+ Proven track record of successfully delivering multi-discipline municipal and/or civil infrastructure projects for both public sector and private clients

+ Ability to analyze issues and determine priorities in an environment of tight and conflicting deadlines
