**Job Summary**

AECOM is seeking a Nuclear PMO Program Manager to be based in our Toronto, ON location. An ideal candidate must be local or willing to relocate to the area.

AECOM’s Construction Services Canada has multiple opportunities for experienced Program Manager to support the successful completion of a range of projects across the region.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

**Leadership**

+ Leads and motivates desired behaviors (e.g., coaching the project team and mentoring one or more individuals).

+ Capable of managing other Project Managers.

+ Leads by example with integrity and candor.

+ Leads proposal efforts for large and complex projects.

+ Able to lead multi-Group and/or joint venture teams on “impact” projects.

+ Ensure Leadership Development and Succession Planning programs are implemented and effectively promoted in conjunction with skills development, mentoring, coaching, and experience broadening

**Judgment & Management of Project Risk**

+ Consistently demonstrates the ability to proactively identify potential project problems or opportunities, analyze the issues using all appropriate resources, develop alternatives, and arrive at the most optimum approach to mitigate problems or exploit opportunities.

**Organizational Skills**

+ Demonstrates knowledge of resources and capabilities of other Groups for appropriate incorporation into project organization.

**Execution Planning**

+ Capable of developing and taking responsibility for the Project Execution Plan development for medium and/or large size projects.

+ Supports the Project Director / Manager with development, evaluation and presentation of reports on project milestones including negotiated Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as agreed to with Clients including identification of corrective actions, mitigation measures, process / procedural improvements to effect / improve KPI performance

+ Responsible for all risk identification and mitigation programs and procedures are followed to de-risk the work for both the Company and the Client

+ Review of developed estimates, for level of accuracy, completeness, comprehensiveness, and alignment with Client deliverables and scope of work including integrity of translates estimates from Cleopatra to Prism

+ Responsible for development, implementation, maintenance and continued improvement of the PMO program as instituted on the Project, including alignment with Client policies, procedures and management programs.

**Contracts**

+ Participates in contract negotiations.

+ Understands sharing or risk transfer based on the Prime Contract.

+ Client Relationship

+ Clearly understands scope of work and all contract requirements.

**Negotiation**

+ Participates with BD and BU management in assessment, strategic development, and negotiations with customers.

+ Capable of leading strategic negotiations with customers, major suppliers and subcontractors.

+ May serve as the Proposal Manager of a major project.

**Presentation Skills**

+ Leads formal presentations to clients and/or management with support of others.

**Minimum Requirements**

+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Facility Management or other relevant discipline or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

+ Demonstrated knowledge and experience with CAN/CSA N285.0 – 12, General Requirements for Pressure-Retaining Systems and Components in CANDU Nuclear Power Plants

+ Entrants to this position generally possess an average of 20 years engineering, operations/maintenance, M&O, construction, project controls, and/or procurement experience.

+ Has a record of proven performance as Senior Project Manager on previous projects.

+ Capable of performing as the project manager on a medium risk, medium to high complexity project.

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Nuclear Construction, Maintenance and/or Heavy Industry experience – Essential.

+ An ideal candidate must be local or willing to relocate to the area. No LOA or Subs will be provided.
