**Job Summary**

AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Project Engineer I for immediate employment in the Washington, DC office.This is a full-time position at the Blue Plains Advanced Wastewater Treatment Plant in in Washington, DC.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

+ Participating in the Department of Wastewater Engineering (DWE) activities related to the Asset Management Program

+ Review and comment on Capital Improvement Program (CIP) monthly updates, participate in monthly review meetings

+ Review and provide responses on CIP spending variances

+ Translate Facility Plan projections to CIP planning, generate 25 year spending plan

+ Provide information from P6 to project managers upon request

+ Participate in annual CIP budget review cycle, prepare power point slides, edit justifications

Additional responsibilities include providing support for WTPM program controls group:

+ Participating in task review meetings

+ Review and comment on task and program schedules

+ Participate in fine tuning of program controls tools (reports, etc.)

**Minimum Requirements**

+ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering

+ 10+ years of progressively increasing responsibility in the realm of wastewater treatment facilities

+ EIT Certification, working towards P.E.

+ Solid technical understanding of treatment processes

+ Experience in managing projects and project delivery

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Master's Degree in Engineering
