**Job Summary**

AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Project Engineer III for immediate employment in the Atlanta, GA office.Projects will include master planning, water distribution and wastewater collection system modeling, stormwater management systems (best management practices), soil and erosion control planning and design.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

+ Perform data and engineering analyses, conduct research on planning policies and best management practices, and to develop planning and design documents

+ Complete engineering assignments requiring application of statistical analysis, modeling, design, and other techniques or procedures related to planning and design of stormwater infrastructure

+ Support Master Planning projects for water, wastewater, stormwater, and support for bridge or culvert hydraulic analysis

+ Planning work may include water demand and wastewater flow forecast, water conservation analysis, hydraulic modeling (water and sewer), water quality analysis, life-cycle cost analysis, facility assessments, SPCC and erosion and sediment control plan preparation

+ Responsibilities also include preparation of documents, interaction with client or stakeholders, and mentoring of entry-level engineers

+ Design work may include development of plans, specifications and construction cost estimates

**Minimum Requirements**

+ Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Civil or Environmental Engineering)

+ 15+ years of experience

+ Water and Wastewater Master Plan and Water Resource Planning

+ Experience utilizing ArcGIS, hydraulic modeling applications (water distribution and wastewater collection system modeling)

+ Program Experience: ArcGIS, InfoWater, H2OMAP Water, WaterGEMS, and InfoWorks, HEC-RAS

+ Strong oral and written communication skills

+ Good attention to details and accuracy of work

+ Computer proficiency

+ Familiarity with Federal and State (EPD, DNR) and local guidelines and regulations that apply to water, wastewater and stormwater planning issues.

+ Familiar with GDOT Drainage Manual, the Georgia Stormwater Management Manual and Manual for Erosion and Sediment Control in Georgia

+ Experience with drainage studies, and bridge/culvert hydraulic studies

+ Experience with working with clients and stakeholders

+ Experiences with erosion control plans and SPCC plans

+ Experiences supervising and mentoring junior staff

+ Project management experience

+ Support in proposal development and client relationships

+ Due to the nature of this work, U.S. citizenship is required

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering preferred

+ PE Preferred
