**Job Summary**

AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Project Manager for immediate employment for the Columbus, Ohio office. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:

+ Marketing and business development for the Regional and National Mission Critical Practice, including visits to prospective clients, proposal development, and interviews

+ Manage project scheduling, budgets, and set-up with clients, sub-contractors, vendors and consultants

+ Create and communicate clear and attainable project objectives and project requirements

+ Prepare project team work-plans and manage a range of project team sizes, comprised of project architects, interior designers, job captains and consultants

+ Actively manage and track financial performance of project

+ Ensure projects conform to contract requirements

+ Day to day communication, coordination, and management of the client's project team

+ Development of proposals, including project work plans with fee and hour breakdowns for each phase and service discipline

+ Team set up / selection and overall management of project staff (internal disciplines as well as “outside” consultants)

+ Financial management of project budget

+ Project program development and documentation

+ Management, coordination and leadership in development of schematic design, design development, and construction documentation for all disciplines (including document reviews), and overall leadership of AECOM’s quality control program (for projects under their management)

+ Coordination of the issuance of construction documents to General Contractors / Construction Managers and follow up coordination Construction Administration services (including submittals, progress reviews, site observation duties, and project close out)

**Minimum Requirements**

+ Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Business Administration

+ 5+ years’ experience in the design and management of Mission Critical Projects

+ Experience leading, managing and mentoring multiple project teams

+ Experience negotiating project scope and fees

+ Experience with the entire project lifecycle, through post-occupancy

+ Excellent written + verbal communication and management skills to include ¬leadership, organization and client relationship management skills

+ Collaborative and team-conscious

+ Ability to handle difficult situations with tact, grace and style

+ Must have the ability to maintain existing client relationships and build new client relationships

+ Strong technical writing skills; experienced in the preparation of correspondence, reports and proposals

+ Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Project Management Professional (PMP)

+ 10+ years' experience preferred

+ Knowledge and experience using AutoCADD, Revit, Microsoft Project, Excel and Word
