Your Role

As a Gensler Project Manager in our Los Angeles Sports studio, you will leverage your 10+ years of experience in project management, as well as your interpersonal skills to deliver exceptional client projects on time and on budget.  You will deploy resources to ensure that the work process flows smoothly and act as the primary liaison between the team and the client. The Los Angeles Sports studio doesn't just design great venues, but creates places and experiences. You will join a team that believes that design has the power to improve the world of sports by enhancing individual experience. 

What You Will Do

  • Implement one or more projects through management of project teams
  • Work with the Project Designer and Project Architect to provide leadership to the team and client; communicate project objectives, contract scope, terms, and schedule
  • Develop and monitor the project work plan, project schedule, fees, contracts, billings and collections
  • Prepare project proposals and negotiate fees and contracts
  • Manage scheduling, budgets, staffing, project set up with clients, sub-consultants, vendors and contractors
  • Track financial performance of projects for success
  • Provide leadership to the team and client by communicating project objectives, contract scope, terms, and schedule
  • Manage and develop a growing team, comprised of project architects, interior designers, job captains and graphic designers

Your Qualifications

  • 10+ years of relevant experience, at least 5 years as a Project Manager
  • Degree in Architecture from an accredited program
  • LEED Accreditation preferred
  • Knowledge of building codes, standards, and structures
  • Extensive knowledge of architectural and interiors principles/practices
  • Excellent communication, organization, leadership, business development, and people management skills
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, Project, Powerpoint and Adobe Creative Suite preferred
