Project Manager-Workplace Interiors

Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager – Workplace Interiors for our  Dallas office.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Collaborates on workplace interiors projects, including programming client needs, conceptual design, schematic design, and design development
  • Resolves complex technical and design issues
  • Develops space planning concepts and generate program documents
  • Participates in selection of furniture systems and specifications
  • Works with consultants, contractors, fabricators, specification writers and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectives
  • Assists in managing client expectations, team communication and consultant coordination
  • Provides project team coordination for the finished plans, specifications and material selections required for construction
  • Participate in the construction administration of projects and review of submittals and finish samples  
  • Implements one or more projects through the management of project teams
  • Negotiates fees and contracts for projects
  • Manages scheduling, budgets, staffing, project set-up with sub-consultants, vendors and contractors
  • Tracks financial performance of project
Qualifications:
  • 10+ years related interior design experience, with a background in workplace interiors
  • Interiors/Workplace/Facilities management experience in all phases of projects through post-occupancy
  • Professional degree (Master or Bachelor) in Architecture or Interior Design from an accredited program
  • Strong knowledge of the design process, including FF&E, furniture systems and specifications, color and materials
  • Extensive knowledge of architectural principles/practices
  • Knowledge of building codes and structures
  • Flexibility to focus on a single client with a variety of project types or multiple projects in various stages of development
  • Strong leadership, communication and relationship management skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Outstanding graphic presentation skills
  • Revit skills are highly valued
  • Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp and 3-D Studio Max preferred
