Gensler’s Seattle office was established in 2000 to provide services in architectural and workplace design to the Puget Sound Region.  Our clients include financial services, professional services firms, corporate and regional headquarters, advertising, retail, academia, museums, and transportation. 

We currently have an exceptional opportunity for a senior project manager with a successful track record of managing all phases of Workplace and Interiors projects.  As a project manager at Gensler, you will have overall project responsibility for client satisfaction, quality control and financial performance.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and 15+ years of relevant project management experience on a range of architecture projects with focus on Workplace and Interiors
  • Experience Hospitality projects a plus
  • Extensive local project experience in the greater Seattle area required
  • Engaged in the local community with the ability to develop client relationships and new business
  • Experience with the entire project lifecycle, through post-occupancy
  • Experience leading, managing and mentoring multiple project teams, including the ability to create and communicate clear and attainable project objectives and requirements
  • Experience preparing project proposals, negotiating contracts and fees, and coordinating the bidding process
  • Knowledge of building codes, standards and building structures
  • Proven fiscal accountability and responsibility
  • Strong leadership, organization, communication and relationship management skills
