**Job Summary**

AECOM is seeking a Nuclear Quality Manager to be based in our Toronto, ON location. An ideal candidate must be local or willing to relocate to the area.

AECOM’s Construction Services Canada has multiple opportunities for experienced Commercial Manager to support the successful completion of a range of projects across the region.

+ Ownership of implementation and continued maintenance / improvement of the Project Quality Assurance / Quality Control program for all scope work, including ensuing review and incorporation of suitable OPEX and Lessons Learned

+ Responsible for the implementation and adherence to CAN/CSA N285.0 – 12, General Requirements for Pressure-Retaining Systems and Components in CANDU Nuclear Power Plants

+ Front line management and implementation of programs for Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in support of the reporting function as agreed with the Client

+ Provide a mentoring approach to all Quality Assurance / Quality Control personnel on-site, in support of Leadership Development and Succession Planning

+ Promote a learning-based culture within the Quality Assurance / Control functional silo

+ Guides and directs lower level personnel on the set-up and performance of tests.

+ Acts as liaison with outside suppliers in establishing or modifying specifications for purchased items.

+ Devises and applies testing procedures for parts or sub-assemblies received from outside vendors.

+ Participates in the development, maintenance, and refinement of internal quality control and reliability programs.

+ Ensures that the company and customer’s requirements are met on assigned products, programs, areas, or functions.

+ Recommends corrective action to quality problems.

+ Provides technical support and advises other engineering groups.

+ May work in any of the following areas of quality control/assurance engineering: design, incoming material, process control, product evaluation, inventory control, product reliability, research and development and administrative application.

+ Ensures adherence to company policies, procedures, and related government regulations.

+ Manages a group of quality employees in a group office or working on a portion of a project. Plans, conducts and directs research and/or development work on complex quality projects necessitating the origination and application of new and unique approaches. Possesses and applies an advanced knowledge to the completion of projects. Ensures that the product is designed, procured, and installed in accordance with customer and company quality requirements and within established budgets. Makes frequent decisions using principles and professional independent judgment. Provides technical inspiration, leadership, and consultation to professional co-workers.

**Minimum Requirements**

+ Demonstrated knowledge and experience with CAN/CSA N285.0 – 12, General Requirements for Pressure-Retaining Systems and Components in CANDU Nuclear Power Plants

+ Bachelor’s degree in engineering or demonstrated equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

+ 10+ years experience in area of specialization.

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Lead Auditor/Auditor Certificate desired.

+ Nuclear Construction, Maintenance and/or Heavy Industry experience – Essential.

+ An ideal candidate must be local or willing to relocate to the area. No LOA or Subs will be provided.
