**Job Summary**

AECOM is currently recruiting for a Regional Travel Lead who will be responsible for all travel, and payment card related services within the EMIA region.

Based from our centrally located offices in Birmingham the role will involve;

+ Working with the Managing Director of Procurement to monitor travel compliance and to provide operational insight to increase compliance and drive lower costs.

+ Take the lead or support the lead on all travel supplier implementations in the EMIA region

+ Work closely with regional travel management companies to ensure that the approval regime is fit for purpose and provide reporting as necessary in this regard.

+ Support Finance colleagues in the production of monthly travel cost reports to assist Operational business

+ Manage all EMIA travel supplier relationships in co-ordination with Global Travel

+ Work with EMIA Procurement and Global Travel to negotiate any regional contracts to supplement existing global contracts eg Air, Hotel and Car.

+ Liaise with EMIA Head of Events, Global Travel and travel management companies to support Meetings and Events in region

+ Identify savings opportunities including service and process improvements within the EMIA region.

+ Gather relevant market intelligence to report EMIA travel commodity market trends to the Managing Director Procurement, EMIA and Global Travel.

+ Communicate, educate and increase compliance to Travel, Meetings and Corporate Card Policies.

+ Adopt a client centric (internal and external) service approach in all dealings to ensure customer satisfaction and to demonstrate value to the business of the EMIA Procurement team.


**Minimum Requirements**

To be successful in this role we are looking for candidates with the following;

+ Knowledge of enterprise resource planning and online booking systems.

+ Previous experience in a similar role ideally gained working for a corporate organisation

+ Intermediate Excel skill, as this role requires in-depth analysis of supplier information during the request for pricing process and as well as analysis and manipulation of supplier reports.

+ Must have experience in Procurement Travel category management

+ Strong oral and written communications skills, report writing, development of proposals

+ Demonstrated time management and organizational skills

+ Demonstrated commercial acumen and the ability to develop relationships

+ A strong sense of commitment, and urgency. A willingness to learn and a desire to work in a dynamic deadline driven team environment

+ Financial analysis of EMIA travel spends to find opportunities for improvement of service and cost reduction

+ Competent in the knowledge of systems such as Oracle

+ Knowledge of EMIA travel market

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Experience in Procurement category methodology

+ Tertiary qualifications in Travel, Procurement or another related discipline

+ Proficiency in using MS Office especially Excel
