**Job Summary**

AECOM is seeking a Semi-Vacuum Truck operator to be based in our Fort McMurray, Alberta location.

AECOM provides services to clients supporting the development of both conventional and unconventional resources in major oil and gas basins throughout North America. AECOM offers Industrial Services, using pressure, vacuum, chemical and mechanical methods to clean wells, sump pumps, vessels, exchangers and tanks, safety gathering and transporting waste materials to approved disposal sites. Reporting to the field coordinator or crew supervisor, this position requires professional driving experience and the ability to operate large motorized trucks and equipment safely and efficiently.

**Position Summary:**

+ Operating fluid haul oilfield equipment including loading and unloading liquid products;

+ Transporting sludge/slurry, foam products, hot liquids;

+ Performing pre and post trip inspection, keep record of logs, paperwork;

+ Maintaining all tools and equipment to the required standards;

+ Driving safely and professionally, obeying all traffic rules at all times;

+ Participating fully in job observations, near miss and HID reporting, site inspections, weekly and monthly safety meetings, and tailgate meetings;

+ Identifying and mitigating safety hazards;


+ Execute assigned tasks in a safe and efficient manner

+ Ability to work unsupervised

+ meet established timeline (e.g. work with dispatch)

+ make critical decisions (e.g. regarding exposure to H2S, equipment limits)

+ carry out detailed procedures (e.g. set of steps to follow

+ meet safety standards and AECOM Core Values

+ interact with other operators/supervisors

+ Maintain all AECOM tools and equipment to the required standards

+ Drive safely and professionally, obeying all traffic rules at all times

+ Participate fully in such things as job observations, near miss and HID reporting, site inspections, weekly and monthly safety meetings, and tailgate meetings

+ Identify and mitigate safety hazards

+ Ensure that all training is kept current

+ Understand and utilize the right and responsibility to stop unsafe work

+ Seek out continuous improvement opportunities

+ Provide customer-focused services in all activities

Rotation: 5/2

Hours: 10-12 hours per day

Camp: No camp or LOA available. Local candidates preferred.

**Minimum Requirements**

+ A valid Class 1/A or 3/Q driver’s license or equivalent is required;

+ B Trains experience must

+ High school diploma or equivalent;

+ Air break endorsement is required for drivers who operate vehicles equipped with air brakes;

+ Successfully completion of AECOM Alcohol & Drug testing;

+ Clean driver's abstract required; and

+ CSTS, H2S Alive and GODI preferred;

+ Experience working on hydro-vacs, vac trucks, semi-vacs, B Trains/tankers and combo trucks

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Previous verifiable Tractor Trailer experience;

+ A minimum of one year of fluid haul driving and operating experience would be considered an asset;

+ CSTS (Construction Safety Training Systems) or PST (Petroleum Safety Training)

+ H2S Alive;

+ First Aid – Standard Level;

+ CSE (Confined Space Entry);

+ Fall Arrest and/or Fall Protection (OSSA issued ticket is the general requirement);

+ AWP – Aerial work platform
