**Job Summary**

**This position is based in Century City, California.**

The Senior Analyst, Corporate Development - (Mergers & Acquisitions) position will be responsible for working with the team to identify, evaluate, and execute domestic and international mergers & acquisitions transactions. The position will be part of the Corporate Development team, but will be working with many parts of the organization, including significant exposure to senior management. The company is highly active in M&A, executing numerous acquisitions and divestitures annually. The Senior Analyst should expect to gain significant buy-side and sell-side M&A experience (domestic, international, and cross-border). The company is a global provider of professional technical and management support services to a broad range of markets, including transportation, facilities, environmental and energy, headquartered in Los Angeles, CA with offices and employees around the world.

Core Responsibilities

+ Analyze and evaluate strategic and financial information of potential targets. Prepare multiple valuation analyses (comparables, DCF, IRR, merger/accretion/dilution, etc.) to support decision making.

+ Actively participate and coordinate due diligence on acquisition targets and divestitures.

+ Prepare investment thesis presentations summarizing conclusions and recommendations to present to senior management and the Board.

+ Responsibilities may also include a role in post merger integration.

+ Perform a variety of other ad hoc projects for senior management.

+ Some travel required.

**Minimum Requirements**

+ Candidate should be self-motivated, possess a strong work ethic, and have the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

+ Ideal candidates will have completed 2-3 years of investment banking (analyst program) and/or management consulting.

+ Candidates must be highly analytical and have an in depth knowledge of accounting, finance, and valuation.

+ Candidates should possess exceptional financial modeling and presentation preparation skills.

+ Candidates need to be highly organized and be able to juggle and prioritize multiple transactions simultaneously.

+ Candidates should possess excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills in order to interact with internal and external parties.

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Engineering background and/or engineering industry knowledge is a plus.

+ Buy-side acquisition experience is a plus.
