**Job Summary**

The New Jersey office of AECOM is seeking a Senior ITS Electrical Engineer to join our Traffic/ITS Department. The successful candidate will work within the Department on a variety of ITS and Lighting design projects for counties, state, and private clients.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

+ Roadway and highway reconstruction

+ Fiber optic and wireless communications

+ ITS and Traffic signal design

+ Highway/roadway and intersection lighting design

The position will be based in New Jersey and is geared toward those looking to take the next step in their professional development

**Minimum Requirements**

+ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering

+ 5+ years of related experience

+ ITS and traffic signal design in the NY/NJ Metro area experience

+ Fiber optic and wireless communications experience

+ Highway/roadway and intersection lighting design experience

+ Experience with AutoCad and/or Microstation

+ Familiar with NY/NJ Metro area agency design standards and specifications

+ Solid oral and written communication skills

+ Ability to work well in a team setting

+ Flexibility to work on a variety of projects and tasks

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ New Jersey State PE Certification

+ Conops development, system integration and equipment testing and implementation

+ ITS and Lighting design experience for private and public clients in NY/NJ

+ Experience developing and meeting schedules, scopes, and budgets
