**Job Summary**

AECOM’s Environment Business Line is currently seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The appropriately qualified candidate will join a multidisciplinary, collaborative multinational team focused on delivery of superior services to our clients. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

+ Excellent technical and project management skills

+ Provide technical expertise in support of on-going AECOM geotechnical projects

+ Work with other senior level staff to provide services for current and prospective clients, and actively participate in local and regional collaborative opportunities

+ Actively participate in business development activities by identifying opportunities, supporting proposal efforts, and developing winning strategies

+ Maintain positive working relationships with client contacts, suppliers, contractors, engineering consultants and external agencies

+ Conduct technical review and undertake analysis and design for geotechnical components related to highway and railway projects, utilities, building structures, energy and mining projects, and other civil infrastructure projects

+ Provide technical mentoring to various members of the geotechnical team

**Minimum Requirements**

+ Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical Engineering or related field

+ 10+ years of geotechnical experience

+ Registered as a Professional Engineer in Manitoba and Saskatchewan or eligibility to register

+ Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

+ Excellent technical, project management, and communication skills (both oral and written)

+ Ability to manage time effectively

+ Willingness to work flexible hours under a variety of conditions

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering

+ 15+ years of geotechnical experience in Western Canada

+ Proven track record in developing and sustaining client relationships in the Manitoba market

+ Experience of finite element analysis using Plaxis software and other Geotechnical software including LPILE and SlopeW

+ Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset
