The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:

+ Maintain a line of communication and a collaborative working relationship with the AECOM Leadership team

+ Assist with preparation of project proposals with leadership

+ Assist with management of quality control and team performance for all phases of interiors projects

+ Manage and maintain existing client relationships while developing new and to identify and source potential projects

+ Consistently provide complete and timely communication of project information to and from clients and project team

+ Mentor and coach staff for growth

+ Assist with developing / maintaining resource library vendor contacts and relevant content with junior staff

**Minimum Requirements**

+ Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or Interior Design

+ 8+ years of related experience, including demonstrated success as a project designer on a range of interiors project types

+ Experience with all phases of the project, including pre-design through construction administration

+ Expert knowledge of contract interiors FF+E market

+ Experience in documenting FF+E specifications and experience establishing budget and monitor procurement process of FF+E working with major manufacturer dealers

+ Experience in maintaining fiscal accountability of projects

+ Experienced in maintaining and building new client relationships

+ Working knowledge of building codes, standards and building structures

+ Self-starter, leader, manage and mentor multiple project teams

+ Able to work and lead a complex team structure

+ Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch-up or other 3D modeling software

+ LEED Accreditation required within 12 months of employment

+ Ability to accommodate some regional domestic travel (while not critical, valid driver’s license may be required)

+ Ability to communicate design concept and intent through various media is critical both to internal team as well as with clients

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Corporate interior experience through all phases including large scale (150,000+) in the NY Metro region

+ Strong planning ability preferred

+ Revit skills are highly valued

+ RA, NCIDQ or CID preferred
