Signage & Wayfinding Specialist

 

Studio Profile:
Gensler’s Brand Design studio is a collaborative team of designers, strategists, and storytellers that engages with a wide variety of clients on projects of all sizes. Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture, industrial design, graphic design, interior design or similar.
  • 5-10+ years of related experience, with a strong background in graphics, signage and wayfinding, and designing user-experience based environments.
  • Extensive design experience with signage and wayfinding, including production management and technical drawings.
  • Strategic thinking and ability to create designs for projects based upon rational and conceptual thinking. 
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to read architectural plans, sections, elevations and details, and coordinate with architectural teams and fabricators on projects.
  • Revit and/or 3D software experience is a plus but not required.

 

Your Role

  • Work on all facets, from concepts to execution of environmental graphic design and signage and wayfinding packages for architecturally based projects.
  • Collaborate with multiple design teams to develop, design and implement environmental graphics within a project, and incorporate those designs into architectural drawing sets.
  • Develop separate environmental graphic design intent packages that include specifications, materials, details and locations for designed elements.
  • Interface and collaborate with multiple internal design practices, including workplace, retail, education and health & wellness.
