**Job Summary**

AECOM is seeking a 1 st shift Supervisor for our industrial heat treat equipment maintenance team in East Peoria, IL!

+ Typical work schedule is 6:00am – 6:00pm.

+ This position works 12-hour shifts on a schedule rotation of 3 days on and 2 days off; 2 days on and 3 days off.

**This position supervises a team of maintenance technicians, and may also work as a technician up to 30-50% of the time. Extensive experience as a Heat Treat Maintenance Technician is highly desired, as technical proficiency is essential to success in this role.**

The Supervisor is responsible for technical support, direction, safety training, audits and quality control for AECOM production maintenance and/or contract employees in a fast-paced industrial production environment.

The Supervisor is responsible for the prioritization of work based on the needs of the client and for the on-time completion of all work, as well as all documentation involved. Lead all efforts related to preventive and corrective maintenance on Heat Treat systems including, but not limited to: furnaces, quenching equipment, robotic systems, conveyors, and ventilation equipment.

Provides and / or schedules needed training and cross-training for multi-functional employees. Implements all safety rules and guidelines for all AECOM employees. Responsible for scheduling, planning, documentation, maintaining performance and reporting with AECOM management team and client.

Responsibilities:

+ Monitors and/or manages the entry of correct documentation and scheduled maintenance via Maximo/SAP.

+ Manages reactive/corrective maintenance as it is reported and distributes to available technicians.

+ Leads safety program for the worksite and maintains reporting associated with safety activities.

+ Audits work performance for safety actions and quality of work, and provide coaching as needed.

+ Reviews new job requests to differentiate between in-scope and non-scope work, and addresses accordingly.

+ Maintains effective performance of individual employees and the worksite team.

+ Reviews and approves time reporting.

+ Compiles, maintains and presents various reports to AECOM management and client teams.

+ Participate and Document Cost savings and Root Cause Analysis.

**Minimum Requirements**

**Minimum Requirements:**

1. High school diploma or demonstrated equivalent.

2. Ten years of experience in Production Maintenance as a technician, planner, specialist, or a related technical role in an industrial environment, or demonstrated equivalent combination of education and experience.

3. Ability to work from aerial lifts and scissors lift from height up to 30ft. and above

**Additional Information:**

+ This position will require the ability to obtain a security access badge at our client’s location.

+ This position may require various shifts, weekends, and alternative work schedules.

**Physical Requirements:**

+ Requires the ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.

+ Requires the ability to regularly climb extension ladders, roof ladder, stepladders, and stairs at least 10 times during shift.

+ Requires the flexibility to bend/stoop, squat repetitive during shift.

+ Requires the ability to regularly kneel repetitive for shift.

+ Requires the ability to move in a 90-degree fashion on a repetitive basis for shift.

+ Requires the ability to stretch/reach on a repetitive basis for shift.

+ Requires the ability to walk extensively throughout the plant during shift.

+ Requires the use of a Company/Client approved utility knife.

+ Requires the ability to differentiate colors pertaining to wire color-coding.

+ Some tasks will require repetitive wrist movement.

+ Requires the ability to interact with all clients in a professional and friendly manner despite periods of stress.

**Special Requirements:**

+ Wear steel toe safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, hard hat and other Personal Protective Equipment as needed.

+ Cope with demands (stressors) that are associated with the job and/or the work environment so that acceptable levels of performance and overall contribution are maintained.

**Preferred Qualifications**

**Preferred Qualifications:**

1. Four years of experience in a Lead or Supervisory role.

2. Extensive experience in heat treat equipment troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair.

3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites with emphasis on the ability to navigate and formulate within Excel and Access

4. Experience in a supervisory or subcontract management capacity within a technical industrial or manufacturing environment

5. Experience in a leadership position demonstrating the ability to analyze Process Maintenance related problems (i.e. Electrical, Mechanical, Machine Tools, Heat Treat, etc.); then recognize and determine solutions (engineered or otherwise) for resolution. This includes but is not limited to; opportunities for improved asset reliability, improved quality results, safer work conditions, and lower maintenance cost, improved work plans to increase efficiency.

6. Experience creating Power Point presentation and giving presentation in front of large audiences

7. Experience with the development and training of a multi-skilled technical workforce

8. Experience creating metrics and data mining for driving performance results

9. Experience utilizing Continuous Improvement disciplines such as Six Sigma, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, 5S, 4 M’s, etc.

10. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent trade school credentials preferred.

+ Must be willing to work overtime when required. May be required to work holidays and weekends.
