**Job Summary**

AECOM has an exciting opportunity in Afghanistan on the EAGLE contract for a

**Supervisor PMCS.** The Supervisor supervises a professional team encompassing a wide range of functions within the discipline: Interviews, recommends and place candidates into open positions. Evaluates staff, comparing objectives and achievements in the assessment. Coaches employees in their professional career development and process improvements. Issues discipline whenever required. Recommends termination or contract non-renewal when appropriate. Responsible for the supervision of day-to-day operations within the department. Provides guidance and assistance to assigned personnel on current processes, practices, and procedures to be employed, quantity and quality of work expected, and tools and materials to be used. Plans work schedules, sequence of operations, and distribution of work, designates workers and assigns work, explains work requirements, methods and procedures, and assists with resolving problems. Prepares daily operational reports and weekly summary reports and other critical actions as directed by the Fleet Supervisor / Manager. Interfaces with designated government representatives and other contractor elements to ensure smooth operations and compliance with government directives, standards, and needs of the US Government. Assists in establishing, updating and maintaining department instructions and files in accordance with (IAW) Government regulations and standard operating procedures. Acts as sub-hand receipt holder and approving authority in the absence of the Fleet Supervisor / Manager. Provides leadership and guidance consistent with and in support of the section goals and objectives. Processes, distributes and safeguards confidential and sensitive documents. Assists in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures, work instructions, and training plans. Conducts, leads and participates in briefings, problem solving meetings, and Department level discussions. Ensure strict compliance to safety practices and support the AC FIRST Safety Policies and Procedures. Instills a safety first mentality within respective work areas and a culture that achieves low accident rates and minimal lost-time injuries. Adhere to ISO Policies, Procedures, and Work Instructions in support of the AC FIRST Quality Management System. Performs other duties as assigned.

**Minimum Requirements**

+ High School diploma or equivalent required.

+ Work experience may be substituted for educational requirements and/or educational achievements may be substituted for years of experience. Example: Two (2) years of experience is equivalent to (2) years of college and vice versa.

+ Secret Security Clearance, is required.

+ 5 years’ experience in maintenance or similar experience is required.

+ Work experience may be substituted for educational requirements and/or educational achievements may be substituted for years of experience. Example: Two (2) years of experience is equivalent to (2) years of college and vice versa.

+ Must possess a strong knowledge of operations, logistics, maintenance, supply, and/or transportation procedures.

+ Must have demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills, including a professional demeanor.

+ Must have excellent knowledge of English grammar, spelling and punctuation and intermediate math.

+ Must have high level of proficiency in the use of MS Office, including Word, Power Point, Excel, and Outlook as well as other related applications.

+ Must have strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to work and communicate with others effectively.

+ Must possess or obtain Safety Trained Supervisor (STS) Certification

+ Driver’s license is required.

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Bachelor’s degree preferred.

+ US Army Battle Staff Course, Support Operations Course, or equivalent services schools preferred.
