**Job Summary**

AECOM is seeking an experienced technical writer to support multiple acquisition programs. The successful candidate will conceptualize, write, edit, and review comprehensive technical materials, such as studies and acquisition documents related to systems supporting the U.S. Navy’s expeditionary forces. The candidate will also review work produced by others for correctness and edit documents for grammar, readability and format. Seeking a self-starter that can work independently with limited supervision or as part of an acquisition team. Position requires knowledge of DoD 5000 acquisition requirements and the capability to produce professional work products using MS Office suite. Also required is the ability to maintain compliance with technical requirements solicited by the government and to engage with Subject Matter Experts and project managers to refine technical response and conduct reviews.

**Minimum Requirements**

1. BS/BA or commensurate DoD acquisition credentials

2. Experience developing acquisition documents for DoD programs

3. 3-5 years performing as a Technical Writer

4. Secret clearance

5. Ability to travel periodically anywhere in the US

**Preferred Qualifications**

_Navy acquisition experience preferred._
