**Job Summary**

AECOM is seeking a high level Crane Maintenance Technician IV to join our Factory Support Service team based in the South Central region, including Tennessee, Mississippi, Arkansas, Oklahoma & Texas!

This **elite team of industrial maintenance specialists** is deployed from our regional hub to a network of manufacturing facilities to support and supplement our existing local workforce, tackle special projects, and deliver impeccable service. The team drives high level PM projects and corrective actions; TPM and reliability projects; and new business startups. Top performers will be offered **training in predictive maintenance** techniques, tools, and tasks.

This position **travels frequently** to established client sites throughout the **Midwest, South Central, and Southeastern** regions, and may travel to new work sites to support business startup teams nationwide.

+ **Relocation assistance to the regional hub may be available to qualified candidates.**

+ Each site visit may require **1 – 3 weeks of onsite work** , and **expected travel is 75% or more.**

+ This position will require extensive travel, both ground and air. The Technician will be responsible for tracking and recording travel related expenses to be reimbursed by the company.

+ The Technician will be responsible for creating trip reports as well as customer billing and hour tracking logs.

+ This position will represent the company in front of multiple customers as the service technician from beginning to end of projects and assignments. May be work as an individual or as a member of a group supporting customer projects.

+ Valid passport is highly desired.

+ **7 years of experience repairing overhead cranes and jib hoists is a plus, OR**

+ **5 years of experience plus an Associate’s degree is highly desired.**

This maintenance / repair technician is responsible for providing an advanced level of expertise in performing electrical / mechanical preventive maintenance, inspection and repairs of overhead cranes and jib hoists. Also performs electrical / mechanicalpreventive maintenance and repairs on facilities related equipment, such as conveyors, pumps, doors etc.

Effectively communicates with the site management team and the customer to understand requirements, solve complex electrical problems, and provide solutions to manufacturing problems.

The Crane Maintenance Technician IV must have the ability to identify and correct any safety-related issues and perform independent equipment evaluations to identify potential equipment failures.

Responsibilities:

+ Performs electrical/mechanical preventive maintenance, inspection and repairs of **overhead cranes and jib hoists.**

+ Performs repairs, modifications, and preventative maintenance on buildings, facilities equipment, fixtures, and systems.

+ Operates aerial and platform lifts.

+ Reads and understands schematics, diagrams, and specifications.

+ Demonstrates solid understanding of Lock Out Tag Out practices and procedures.

+ Operates a PC with Microsoft Office Suite programs.

+ Performs preventive maintenance as scheduled in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

+ Responds and provides service and feedback to the customer on all work orders while assuring compliance to codes, regulations and industry standards.

+ Recommends measures to improve maintenance methods and equipment performance.

+ Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems.

+ Understands company policies and enforces safety regulations.

+ Safely performs functions of the position including following proper safety guidelines such as job hazard analysis and lockout/tagout procedures and wearing PPE as required.

+ Operates various measuring, diagnostic and testing instruments to help provide energy efficiency solutions.

+ Operates a variety of equipment such as hand tools, laptop computers and diagnostic hardware to perform work.

+ Maintains a strict schedule in order to be successful in the assignment, yet demonstrates flexibility in the day-to-day activities and scheduling for the benefit of the customer.

**Minimum Requirements**

**Minimum Requirements:**

1. High school diploma or demonstrated equivalent.

2. Five years of experience maintaining overhead cranes, jib hoist, conveyors, or related equipment in an industrial manufacturing environment, or demonstrated equivalent combination of education and experience.

3. Ability to travel 75% or more to remote work sites and business startups nationwide.

4. Valid Driver’s License.

5. Must have the ability to work in an aerial lift or scissor lift at heights up to 30 feet or higher.

**Additional Information:**

+ Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.

+ This position requires a valid Driver’s License.

+ This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization.

+ This position will require the ability to obtain a security access badge at our client’s location.

+ This position may require various shifts, weekends, and alternative work schedules.

**Physical Requirements:**

+ Requires the ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.

+ Requires the ability to regularly climb extension ladders, roof ladder, stepladders, and stairs at least 10 times during shift.

+ Requires the flexibility to bend/stoop, squat repetitive during shift.

+ Requires the ability to regularly kneel repetitive for shift.

+ Requires the ability to move in a 90-degree fashion on a repetitive basis for shift.

+ Requires the ability to stretch/reach on a repetitive basis for shift.

+ Requires the ability to walk extensively throughout the plant during shift.

+ Requires the use of a Company/Client approved utility knife.

+ Requires the ability to differentiate colors pertaining to wire color-coding.

+ Some tasks will require repetitive wrist movement.

+ Requires the ability to interact with all clients in a professional and friendly manner despite periods of stress.

**Special Requirements:**

+ Wear steel toe safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, hard hats and other Personal Protective Equipment as needed.

+ Cope with demands (stressors) that are associated with the job and/or the work environment so that acceptable levels of performance and overall contribution are maintained.

1. Associate’s degree in Industrial Electrical, Industrial Mechanical, HVAC or a related skilled trade.

2. Experience troubleshooting and repairing 480V 3 phase.

3. Experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical/mechanical issues on cranes and hoists.

4. Experience troubleshooting and repairing VFDs.

5. Experience troubleshooting and repairing Allen Bradley PLCs such as RX Logic, Micro Logic etc.

**Other Attributes:**

+ Must be willing to work overtime when required. May be required to work holidays and weekends.

+ Work schedules can change based on critical business needs.
