We’re seeking an Operations Manager with knowledge in Sound & Communication Electronic Security/Physical Access Control Systems. The Operations Manager will support the project management team on their assigned Team. This role will monitor and assign projects to Project Managers (PMs) based on existing workloads and skill set and monitor to ensure PMs are billing as appropriate, assist in problem resolution and generally ensure the Team operations run smoothly, customers are happy and projects completed on schedule.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Ensure proper management and reporting of the teams P&L and sales pipeline.
2. Daily support and leadership of Project Managers, Technicians and Team staff.
3. Responsible for the Team members, performance and profitability.
4. Ensure Technicians are assigned appropriately to ensure efficiency.
5. Ensure customers schedules are being kept by the staff.
6. Assist with job related problems.
7. Assist with purchasing related problems.
8. Ensure customer billings are keeping pace with job related costs.
9. Hiring, counsel and/or terminate of Team members.
10. Approve or decline time and expenses of subordinates.
11. Weekly review back log of work with each Project Manager.
12. Assist in working through business processes for a good workflow.
13. Occasionally walk a project with a salesperson and/or review a quote with the sales staff to ensure all items are included along with the appropriate amount of time to complete.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Publisher, Outlook, and Internet Explorer) and NetSuite.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Project Management Institute (PMI) certification preferred; industry-specific certifications and/or licenses desired; must have valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
