Project Manager – Work Studio
Gensler’s Atlanta office is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager with a successful track record of managing all phases throughout the design process. In this position, you will have overall project responsibility for client satisfaction, quality control, leading the design process and financial performance. The ideal candidate must have corporate interiors experience.
• Manage all phases of design throughout project scope, including client relationship, project set-up, design, documentation and construction administration 
• Create and communicate clear and attainable project objectives and project requirements with the client, Design Director and Studio Director
• Manage project scheduling, budgets, and set-up with clients, sub-contractors, vendors and consultants in conjunction with Studio Director, Design Director and Project Architect
• Prepare project team work-plans and manage a range of project team sizes, comprised of project architects and designers
• Track financial performance of project
• Prepare project proposals, negotiate contracts and fees, coordinate bidding process
• Ensure projects conform to contract
• Leverage oneself beyond project-based focus to address greater office and regional issues.  
• Continually improve the quality of our work, the manner in which we deliver it and the process we employ to attain it.  
• Build, nurture and foster new relationships with a broad client base. 
• Work closely with Studio, Office and Regional Directors across the firm to promote an inter-disciplinary design approach and philosophy and facilitate its advancement in respective offices and across the firm. 
• Be an integral part in the growth and success of the Workplace Practice Area.  
• Effectively communicate and implement the key strategic initiatives and become an influential “Voice” of project delivery 
• Bachelor of Architecture or Interior Design
• Licensed Architect or NCIDQ Certified 
• Demonstrated success as a project manager on various Corporate Interior projects
• Outstanding graphic presentation skills
• Computer skills:  Strong Revit user and knowledge of Adobe Suites, SketchUp and/or 3-D Studio Max
• Flexibility to focus on a large client account with a variety of project types -or- multiple, concurrent projects in various stages of development
• Ability to work with a large project team, across multiple offices
• Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate design ideas and direction quickly
• Strong leadership, organization, communication and relationship management skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong leadership, communication and relationship-management skills
• LEED accreditation
• Experience negotiating project scope and fees
• Experience with the entire project lifecycle, through post-occupancy
• Proven fiscal accountability and responsibility on corporate interior projects 
• Knowledge of building codes, standards and building structures
• Excellent written + verbal communication and management skills to include leadership, organization and client relationship management skills
• Collaborative and team-conscious 
• Ability to handle difficult situations with tact, grace and style
• Must have the ability to maintain existing client relationships and build new client relationships
