SUMMARY:

Develops, directs, and oversees Region's NERC/WECC operations and maintenance related compliance programs. Creates, updates, and revises compliance documentation and maintenance plans as required by standards. Oversees document management and version control policies and processes for maintenance test records, and configuration files for critical equipment. Periodically reviews Regional Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) studies and resultant computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) (Maximo) job plans for adequacy in meeting NERC/WECC maintenance and reliability standards. Acts as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Transient Cyber Assets and Removable Media. Prepares for and represents Region with NERC/WECC audits.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as: experience with implementing and managing a North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) and Western Electricity Coordinating Council (WECC) reliability compliance program related to Operations, Maintenance, and Critical Infrastructure and Protection (CIP) activities.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Executive Order (EO) 14043 requires Federal employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 regardless of the employee's duty location or work arrangement (e.g., telework, remote work), subject to such exceptions as required by law. At this time, EO 14043 is subject to a preliminary nationwide injunction.
